A magnificent reform and educational ceremony was held on the campus of Ghor University
Today, Monday, 17th of Dhu al-Qi‘dah 1447 AH, corresponding to 14th of Sawr 1405 (Solar Hijri), a grand reformative and educational gathering was held in the courtyard of Ghor University. This valuable program was organized at the request of the leadership of Ghor University in collaboration with the Council of Religious Scholars of Ghor Province.
In this gathering, all university staff and students of the morning session participated with great enthusiasm and inspiration. They actively took part in the program with a strong sense of responsibility, interest, and commitment.
The event commenced with the soulful recitation of several verses from the Holy Qur’an by Pohyanmal Qari Mohammad Tayyeb “Poya,” Head of Research and the Scientific Journal. Following this, Mawlawi Fazl-ur-Rab “Jahani,” Deputy of the Council of Religious Scholars of Ghor Province, delivered a profound and enlightening speech on the reform of both outward appearance and inner character, as well as the value and status of the beard in Islam. His remarks were warmly received by the participants.
Subsequently, Sheikh Riazuddin “Shirzad,” a member of the Council of Religious Scholars of Ghor Province, spoke on the importance of knowledge, education, and learning, and their role in individual and social development. He encouraged participants to pursue education and adhere to authentic Islamic values.
At the end of the program, Mawlawi Mujibullah “Maqri,” President of Ghor University, expressed his gratitude for the presence and sincere cooperation of the Council of Religious Scholars. He described the event as an important step toward enhancing religious and intellectual awareness and concluded the gathering with prayers for the success, prosperity, and continued achievements of all university staff and students.
